Just been told that my container has covered about half the distance to Turkey the shipping agents that i used will give updates so that i know where my container is at any given time the wonders of satellite navigation . They gave me a great price too £1400 Southampton to Famagusta had to pack myself for that price but i preferred that anyway . Cant wait to swing the doors open outside my villa then the fun will begin with the customs . Wish me luck.

Ah, I will always look back fondly on the moment when I found a box in my shipment marked "miscellaneous". As our stuff had been in storage for 12 months before we shipped it, I had no idea what was in that box...imagine my delight when I found half a dozen bottles of super wine inside...3 Faustino Riojas and 3 Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs!
