Can anyone advise please. We have been told that if you enter from Greece into Turkey your vechicle details are entered onto the drivers passpost and you are not allowed to leave without the vehicle. We are looking to enter Turkey via Ipsala and then drive to Alanya and get a ferry across to Grine in October.

All advise greatly appreciated.

Don't go into greece take ferry from Italy to Turkey

Friends of ours drove down but went in via Limasol, they then flew back via Larnaca & had no problems. I'm sure seeing you've left this question on a couple of sites that someone will know about going in via Turkey.
