ELLIS, Tristram James, was born in 1844 in Great Malvern and died in 1922. He studied under Bonnat in 1887 and was an associate member of the Royal Society. Thirteen "Etchings of the views & places of interest in Cyprus", (London, 1879): this is etch number 1 of the whole collection of thirteen plates etched by Ellis, all in frames.
