Scoty, I cant see what is pretty obvious. Why is this rule 16 enforced on some but not others?

Tootie No Restaurant is exempt, the truth is it needs one of us to notice it. Instead of the message on the board just email forumadmins@cyprus44.com and it will get to all Moderators or email me on the addy in my profile and I will look at it if there are some. I just had a brief look and couldn't see any obvious transgressions. Harold

There are now 4 open re a certain restaurant on first page! Nothing against this establishment but msg 7 ???? A new one added this morning!! Rules are rules, why not apply them?? Again, nothing against this place, just unfair on others or other posts that get shut down when some one opens another on same topic. double standards?? or just an over sight??

You'll probably find they pay a fee for the privilige - in which case no problem. This website is underfunded even though many of us contributed when it was requested, many (cheapskates) did not. Geoff Famagusta City

Hi Everyone good morning. Looking at it from another point of view. Is rule 16 superfluous? All users of this site can choose to either read any or all postings or just ignore them. Personally I don't bother to read the postings on Guidos because most posts are only regurgitating previously posted info. and in any event there are too many good restaurants in the Ozankoy area where we live to bother to drive across town. It must also be remembered that many users including myself find the posts regarding restaurants extremely interesting and very helpful. One last point most restaurants are struggling to survive and if this little bit of free publicity helps them why would anyone want to play the role of Ebenezer Scrooge!!!!! Have a lovely Xmas. Doug. PS I understand Brian Delaney is playing at Sammy's Hotel on Xmas Day, we wish we could be there.
