The Carpenters Craft and Farmers Market will be celebrating Christmas on Friday, 17th December with a snow theme. The stall holders will be dressed to reflect the theme. The Kibris Line Dancers will be dancing at 11am, there will be mince pies, mulled wine and a free go on the tombola for all customers who spend 10TL or more at a stall. The market is open from 10am to 1pm and is easily found in the garden of The Carpenters Restaurant, Karaoglanoglu. From Lapta turn left by Bells Food Store, from Kyrenia turn right just past Bektas Supermarket.

The organic farm stall will have sugar snap peas, young green beans, stir fried veges, spring greens as well as lemon curd, spiced Christmas oranges and the usual marmalades, chutneys..... There is a Christmas cake for sale with glace cherries, brandy, homemade almond paste, icing, decorated, it weighs around 5 1/2 lbs. Anyone interested?

Looking forward to seeing the line dancers really enjoyed them last year.

Dont forget if you spend 10 lira you get free tombola ticket Dot and Helen will be there to hand out all prizes

The weather may be damp but our spirit certainly is NOT!!! The market will go ahead as planned and we pray that the rain clouds will stay away!!
