That was the phrase used by U.S. Diplomats based in Britain with regard to the use of Britsh Air bases in Cyprus.



WikiLeaks disclosures tells us Cyprus (Akrotiri base) was secretly used by the U.S to send spy lanes over Lebanon.



British interests & concerns were "brushed aside"



Prestwick also used as a staging post by the U.S to send bombs to Israel.



What does this tell us ?

I thought 'Houston we have a problem' was the the phrase used by James Lovell on the Apollo 13 near fatal accident in space!
