Was watching BBC i player this evening and my computer crashed (problem I have nothing to do with this) when I went back in and logged into it - it still wouldnt play for me - just said "not available in this area" - anyone know anything about this??

Have been onto their facebook page and it is advising that if problems persist then you should download the new version of Expat Shield. link for new version here - http://www.watch-bbc-iplayer.com/

Have downloaded this for the first time, and it is great. Has subtitling too so great for all those fellow deaf people. Can't get them on ITV though, but maybe I have not done it right. Only annoying thing....so far, is the BBC i Player pop up which keeps appearing at the top of every page I browse.......anyone know how to get rid of it permanently?
