I am reading with distress about the continuing poisoning of pet and stray dogs/cats . We were all optimistic after the sad death of Brian Delaney's dog when Tom Roche grasped the gauntlet and vowed to finally bring this reality to the attention of the TRNC authorities. I am still waiting for the new website he promised and any other information. Many, many of us who are animal lovers have pledged support but what has happened Tom? Please inform us, we as educated animal carers can help.

There have been many attempts to make the TRNC government aware of the problem, especially KAR, but they say they will do something! Well we all know the rest. The Cypriot respnse "Tell them what they want to hear"

The question I really meant to ask was how many people responded to the article in Cyprus Today several weeks ago? Is this chat column by Tom Roche effective? Why did he vow to set up this new campaign and then do nothing?

Shame, I really believed he might do something positive. Poisoning animals is illegal in Turkey, is the law the same here?
