| could anyone recommend a shop that sells electric fires with a surround. We have the normal portable electric fires, but having spent the last two decembers in NC, they are not enough to heat an open plan lounge area. I appreciate that whilst we are in the middle of a heat-wave in NC electric fires are not a popular subject, but I"m just thinking ahead! Thanks for any recommendations. |

| why not try a paraffin heater much cheaper to run that electricity (and more reliable because of the power cuts) they don't smell like they used to years ago. They give out a lot of heat and don't dry the air like the gas cylinder ones do. You can get them at most yapi markets. |
