Until recently I didn't know that TurkCell awards point you can use to make free calls... to find out if you have some just send the word 'STORE' to 8780 as a text message.



After a while you'll get the answer... to use these bonus points to make free calls they need to be moved out of store and be credited to your account total.



To move some (minimum 25 call points) send the number you want to move after the word STORE to the same number... e.g. to move 50 send 'STORE 50' to 8780.



You can then use these points instead of your existing credit to make calls (not texts) to other TurkCell numbers during the proceeding month. TIP: don't move too many if you don't think you'll use them up in one month.



NB it only works for PAYT and calls to other TurkCell numbers not texts or calls the other networks.

Thanks Groucho, I get messages several times a day and ignore them, then once my waiter changed my settings to accept and i lost all previous credit. Now you have explained it i will try this. Thank you xxx

No problem, I just knew nothing about it until my son talked us through it... you know how we 'old' folk are!



You have to laugh, COA and I only did 18 years with Vodafone between us and the children still know more about mobiles...

I forgot to say, once moved out of store into your 'current account credit' these points are used before any of your normal credit points for calls to other TurkCell mobiles thus leaving your credit (which does not time expire) intact. i.e. the system automatically uses the the store points up first.

To find out how many bonus units in your store call *123*4#. Then transfer as required.
