We have lost 13 or 14 stations which we regularly watched. 4 sport and 8 movie and a lifestyle station

We switched to Digiturk a month ago, it gives us everything we want, we are not interested in UK soaps, However you do get BBC entertainment & lifestyle so you get eastenders etc, hubby gets the premiership and we get a goodly number of movies in English and all for under £200 a year, and if you pay a year up front you pay only 10 months

if you are receiving only free stuff then whether you DS, or any 'special kit' - you'd be receiving the free channels ANY WAY ;) ...



If it's free to view no special decoder is needed..

We have Digital Supreme, and from the 19th we lost almost all the OSN stations as predicted ( except by Adil, who stated we would,nt lose them) so lied to again.

We lost all Showmovie Channels

all Showsports Channels

BBC Entertainment

BBC Leisure

Altogether some 60 stations, we all received an e-mail stating that they would be replaced by other stations, which when you look at the list we already have these stations, so another nonsense.

Digiturk is getting more and more tempting.

Hi Gallowgate - the Premiership Channel on Digiturk is from UK and all programmes including match commentries are in English. A great channel with one game shown live at a time but all games shown in full afterwards.

Hi Seasider - Many thanks for that, I am debating on Digiturk or Abu Dhabi. Lost a lot of money on Dopi so want to make the right choice. Can I ask if there are any English news channels also on Digiturk?

Thanks 6ms not coming over till March but need to sort out a system for then. Abu Dhabi appealed but some of your recent comments have concerned me that the plug could be pulled. I have the Dopi set up and want to set up a system as economically as possible that gives Premiereship and news. As always your expert feedback is appreciated.

I want to reassure folk.. it is UNLIKELY that folk will get the 'plug pulled' by Abu Dhabi TV - as long as your route to supply is not being 'trumpeted' too 'loudly' ...



The 'issue' comes at renewal times.. and the company objecting to their service being sold at extortionate prices by 'dealers' claiming 'officialdom'
