Can anyone recommend an opticians for a routine eye test? What's the going rate? I will also need some new reading specs. Practical frames - nothing fancy - any idea of likely cost???

Try Canada optics next to Astro supermarket in Girne. I believe they have a good reputation. Sorry I can't help with prices.

Canada optics charge 50tl with the specialist opthamologist. He only does appointments on wednesdays so you would need to book. If you require glasses they were priced from 155tl inc frames. If you want the ones that tint then they are 280tl.
