So, can everyone please post their vote for their choice, plus their choice for runner up...........

So smarmy comments please - this is a serious post..............

My vote:

N.N. You must remember my reputation for working magic with pussy's.

Will you be having cockrel and stuffing tomorrow, or sticking to local food?

There are a lot of people who do a lot of very good work here - Liz, Chris and Johnny Lee to name but three. I would like to nominate all those who are, perhaps, not so much in the 'public eye' but who also do amazing work for charities, neighbours, etc.

So, I would like to nominate the "unsung heroes".

This is not, of course, taking anything away from those people we know a little more about.

Merry Christmas to all.

Liz I agree there are so many kind, giving, unassuming people over here, (not as gobby as us) they deserve all that is good and comes their way. It only takes a smile to brighten someones day and even the worst amongst us can do that.

Chris

p.s. I hate Christmas Eve, love my hubby but would love to be with his mum and dad, our sons and grandchildren now and in the morning.

pps. The downside of living in a wonderful country.

I would like to nominate our intereptor for Ismail, Is name is Yasin, not only is he one of the best and most reliable pool cleaners and pool repair experts in TRNC , he is also a true gentleman.

He has been with us with our cause for Ismail since virtually day one, we could have not got this far without him, He as given so much, he as been over with us several times to visit the family in Beyermudu prior to going to Turkey. They have grown to love and trust him, and also he as organised so much in Turkey.

When he speaks, and translates he as a very calming attitude, also a lot of understanding and paitence.

Thank You Yasin, our unsung hero.
