| In more than six years only 1 (one!) postcard, sent to us from France, did not arrive in TRNC - all other mail was delivered or could be collected in Girne. This morning was no exception: the local Alsancak mailman delivered three big envelopes. One with Dutch chocolate and two envelopes with Dutch smoked sausages. Thank you very much TRNC Mail Department and Alsancak Mail Office. Nothing but praise for you! Keep up the good work!
P.S. And thank you, our friend Bo in Holland, for this excellent idea! (I know he reads this board).  |

| No you're not! We got 4 packets and a load of cards today, and have been getting stuff for the past 2 weeks! So far so good! (though I believe a few letters have gone astray during the year) |

Sadly, our experience in TRNC was bad, we received very little of our mail. |

| For 16 years nearly eveything arrived from Germany..this is the first year not a single parcel found the way...not for my birthday..not for X-Mas..very sad....:-(
My friends are even more disappointed and I won't send anything anymore.... |
