No, What I'm trying to say is that for a start, To be able to get your head around what is happening, You will be in a better position than most, being a free thinking sceptic,

So look at how it works,

Ask the questions,

Who controls the BBC for instance, Who controls the mainstream media,

Just as a slight example the Building 7 collapse of September 11 was broadcast and reported on the BBC news 20 minutes before it actually happened,

Despite that I dare say that you already know that the news is controlled and fed by the people in power,

So now who told you about global warming, (THE MEDIA)

Who told the media to tell you,

The people in power,

Now we think the world is in danger,

So Carbon tax is a good thing, we must pay it,

Because we BELIEVE IN MAN MADE CLIMATE CHANGE,

when we discover that the scientists who discovered it, (and work for the government) actually made it up .

This piece of paper has a day by day list of temperatures and its accompanied by a graph,

the Hockey stick graph,

Showing the temperature slowly but surely rising,



Hes not saying this may happen,

HE IS SAYING THAT IT ALREADY DID HAPPEN,

But you know its wrong,



So why believe him?

No idea whether or not global warming is a fact or not but in my view resources are being depleted at an alarming rate and environmental polution abounds. Clearly monies raised by carbon taxes are not ring fenced and being spent on solutions any more than pension fund pots are properly secured for those who contributed over a working lifetime. Tis like being in a barrel of dung up to the neck whilst turds are being thrown ..... should I duck or turn my back ? Open the window and "influ enza". Spot on. I might suggest though that the atitudes expressed here are more Daily Mail than Daily Telegragh.

Only this lot could turn a question about global warming into a right wing tirade about the EU ,immigrants( of course they really mean non white) tho thankfully we didnt get the jobless scroungers or unmarried mothers sluts bit. Though why it should bother some, especially those who are immigrants in TRNC themselves ,about what effect immigration or EU or anyone else is having in a country ,UK and its people that they hold in contempt,is beyond me.



The reason that nobody bothers about the chances of global warming or not, is that its not them that will suffer,unless it affects the cost of lemons for their G and T's. Are they going to come back from the dead and apoligise to my grandchildren if they have it wrong.



Oh and by the way , global warming does cause temperatures to drop as well as rise ,its to do with ocean currents.

I do think that the benefit system is a fantastic tool of the modern age, But it must not be abused,

I have tried to adopt an open mind regarding the original post.



The total amount of CO2 gasses in the atmosphere is less than 0.04%. Therefor a small increase in this minuscule amount should not bring and end to life as we know it.



The UK contributes less than 2% of all the CO2 gasses created in the world, therefor any measures the UK takes to limit these gasses is insignificant in comparison to the USA and China. So the UK paying a 'carbon tax' is a complete waste of time and money.



Historically, the planet has gone through a heating and cooling cycles over it's life time and nothing we do can stop this. It is only our generation that has the opportunity to measure it.



The developing nations see what the western world has and they want the same standard of living.



The polar ice caps have melted before and the polar bears still survived it, so stop worrying about them.



The sea levels will rise and millions will be made homeless and no amount of 'carbon tax' will stop
