| The government are to give nicotine patches for people who wish to stop smoking, surely if smokers can afford the cigs then they can afford the patches if they want to quit. There must be better things for this money to be spent on in the NHS. |

| Even though I am with message 1 and 2 on this, it is in the long term going to save the NHS money by reducing the level of smokers in the UK and therefore the demand they place on the NHS, but this a long term strategy and will take many years to show results. |

| The N.H.S. is "Running on Empty" and in my view is unsustainable and has been Abused for Years!!!!Hospitals are Understaffed,Doctors are Overworked,And worsted of all Stats are manipulated by the relevant Health Authorities so that patient numbers satisfy the regional health care Auditors...
