Yes I know its not directly connected with the TRNC. The FSS employ about 1500 staff in the UK, pioneering dna and crime solving. This bloody lunatic government has decided to scrap it and let the private sector do it instead. This lunatic government also want to cut the no. of surveillance cameras throughout the country as some ethnic minority or perhaps they are now a majority don't want them in "their" areas. Is the UK now being run by criminal sympathisers?

I believe Scene of Crime Officers (SOCOs) went or are going the same way apart from the wardens instead of police officers. Can't be all bad though, as shortly, the only post available for Police Recruits will be Chief Constable. Perhaps they will soon disband the Armed Services and relace them with conscripted, untrained, civilians, for pittance wages ?

Do you think this might have something to do with the number of "mistakes" by the FSS in their findings (in favour of prosecution), which are later proven to be false or wrong by independent forensic experts during appeals? - Ironically most of these independent experts are the retired former FSS experts themselves! I am not so sure it is a bad move, as far as the experts are concerned. As for cameras - I am sure they have their uses in proving many criminal cases...
