Actually it's for hubby since his back went on Sunday (would you believe it, putting his socks on!!!).

Does anyone know where I might be able to get a support belt for him, are they available here??

Thanks

Thanks for your kind offer Nick. But he's had problems previously too and he's thinking it would be better for him to get one of his own for himself which he can use frequently as and when he needs it. He does a lot of shifting and carrying so he might need it long term. If you're still in need of it, it wouldn't be fair for us to take it off you.

Thanks.

There is a shop just after the Bellapais turning going towards the new harbour on the left, before the roundabout at the Pia Bella.

Pippie it straight across the road from Dano bakery and usually has walking frames outside. Might be an idea though to get him checked out by a Dr though in case he has put a disc out.

Thanks for the advice Chris, is that possible do you think - this time he did his back in on Sunday, he's been walking around ok but just can't get up and down out of a seat. Today seemed much easier for him, only 3 days and he said he was almost back of normal, but he's been lifting things again today and tonight he said when he walks he can feel a little pain in his back.

If a Doc would be best, what do you suggest - a visit to Girne hospital?

Thanks.

Pippie,

Girne Hospital your cheapest option and better to be safe than sorry, it is possible a disc is out of place.
