No I don't have a hangover but thought it might be fun if other members shared their hangover cures. Many many years ago in the west of Scotland a bottle of Irn Bru was the cure (yuck) Chris

Hangovers are caused when the body converts acholol into the chemical acetaldehude. You can speed the recovery by taking more fluids. The best breakfast is not a fry up but simple toast with honey. This provides the body with sodium, pottassuim and fructose. which gets depleted by alchol. The way to avoid a hangover is to drink milk beforehand and of course the water before bed. Well happy drinking between the milk and water and happy new year xx

pandy,it is actually a scientific fact, es[picially if you mix the honey with cinnamon. Now I do not make resolutions but from now on no bacon butties just toast with honey. I didnt indulge last night as I worked till almost 2am, so my drinking time starts now. Happy new year xxx

No such thing as a hangover cure but the best way to prevent them is by sticking to sensible levels and drinking a glass of water for every alcoholic drink. It's all about diluting the poisons and rehydrating.

A prairie oyster is a bull testicle (not COW testicle, since FEMALES DO NOT HAVE TESTICLES!). It's a delicacy of the western and mid-western, semi-arid grasslands of North America (basically everywhere cattle are bought and sold). http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=prairie%20oyster

Lilli said: "ug never, cant even try an oyster, before anyone says it yes i can sell them xxxx" You've got to just close your eyes and swallow it all down. Full of protein and minerals and great for your nails and hair.
