Thre is an exchange now in Alsancak, close to the DVD shop where Ronnies used to be. I was there in June and they were giving the best rates.

Agree with Hattikins - they were giving a good rate in June. Also saves you the drive into Girne. Out on Sunday - hope rate improved and weather stays glorious!

Thanks all - we are out on Wednesday - can't wait to get away from the rain. Our house (which is nearly completed) is in Lapta so exchange in Alsancak is really convenient - it is on the main road, isn't it?

If any of you guys are transferring £'s to Tl via your bank here in the TRNC then check to see what your bank quotes because it may be different to what you see on these exchange websites.
