does anyone do or know of someone who does flower waxing? a friend got married yesterday and wants to preserve her bouquet. i have tried this myself but am not very good so would want someone who is experienced. if so can you leave your contact details here so i can pass them on or if you prefer to email me your details it's deniseaksoy@gmail.com thanks

A friend of mine tells me that she has her 'flower' waxed regularly... don't know if that would be of any help in this case though!!!!

Hi Denise, I was a florist for 30 years while in UK.

To be perfectly honest, I had a company that preserved wedding bouquets. The end result really did not look anything like the original wedding bouquet, and it cost more than the original arrangement.

I usually advised the bride to enjoy the flowers on the day, and use the photos as a reminder.

Try googling Martha Stewart....i actually saw this show (accidently i might add, lol) she did a great show of waxing and keeping bouquets....

my mama did this,like flowerfairy say,no look to good,look to much like wax,my mama had better looking flower using beeswax,no paraffin wax,place in fridge very soon otherwise cracks,also my mama use eucalyptus oil,yes this keep the creeping insects away,someone say deep freeze,me think that crazy,maybe work,spiros say maybe make nice a lolipop

That may be fine DD, but unless it's framed, you'll have a heck of a job keeping it dust free. If it is framed, it ends up flat!!!!!!

Don't think many wedding bouquets are flat

(well, I have seen some like that, but we won't even go there!!!!1)
