ARAC KAYIT-is the name of the office and it is in Nicosia.It is right behind Cyrus Turkish Airlines head office,however you need to take the turning before to get to it.

Do please make sure there are no restrictions on it,ie.if you had imported it, not being allowed to sell for 2 years.Some people think they can get away with giving 'power of attourney'!

I have a neighbour that thinks like that.

we have owned it for 4 and it was imported by tasas.......do you know what documents we need please.... we assume passport photos car docs. What do we need of the buyers deatils please too

first of all u need a form which u can get from girne tax office ask for arac dever form fill the form it need urs and buyer information then go to ur village mukhtar get attested from him.then go to where mr yorgozlu has said in lefkosa with the buyer and his pasport.

When we bought a car through a private sale we had to have a copy of the seller's passport photo page. It is essential that the passport in question matches the one used on the log book otherwise the tax office will not accept it. So if you (the seller) have changed your passport since you bought the car then you need to take your old passport with you.
