A new English language book shop will be opening before the end of January. It's called Bestseller Bookstore and is owned by Martina Cole. We aim to stock a comprehensive mixture of fiction, non-fiction and children's books. As many new titles as possible. I'm issuing a further order of approx 1000 books next week and if anyone would like the opportunity of ordering specific books please let me know, we ask only for a deposit of 5 lira which will be taken off the published price, postage will be free. We are located at Metform Plaza next to the Karakum Lemar supermarket. You're welcome to come in with the details of the book and the deposit, I'm there between 10 and 5pm at the moment, Mon to Fri. It should take approx 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. Margot

Best of luck.

BTW, what will prices be like...? Needed an English Dictionary for school for the little one, and was quoted 25lira for a Collins Dictionary with a price tag of £2.99 on it.

Fantastic news. It's about time the gap in the market was filled since the closure of the late lamented Green Jacket Book Shop. Good luck with the business!

Prices will be no higher than the published price and will be sold at the exchange rate of the day in Turkish lira. We can take sterling if necessary but the change will be in Lira. Tuesday will be fine Ken, I'm here between 10 and 5. I'm ordering James Patterson's latest paperback in any case...

Naturally we have all of Martina Cole'S already here!

Any other suggestions or questions are welcomed

I'll keep you posted regarding opening date.

In order to save on luggage allowance we usualy buy our books at the airport (departure lounge) so it's nice to know when we are in need of a quick read fix - we know where to come. Will you be selling mazagines also??
