I have been bought a Kindle for Christmas, WiFi version.

I do not have wireless capability on my PV. Can I download books to my Pc

and transfer same to the Kindle through a USB lead?

yes , i dont have kindle but similar

you can go on ebay for instance and buy what qty you wish.

then providing the format is the same (pdf ,ebook etc etc ) you would simply plug in your kindle ,see new device in my computer and send it to the device ,unplug kiundle and it should be able to read
