| i would like to reduce or eliminate calcification in the pipes and appliances. is filtering the best and most cost effective way to do this or is softening the water better. i would appreciate some advice on this. |

| Have a look at our http://www.softcleanwater.co.uk web site - there are various products from different suppliers to give you some ideas. The main concerns are how you get store and use your water and then some thoughts can be given. Most filters are not designed to stop lime scale at the levels sometimes prevalent* in water supplied in the TRNC. *Each village will have different levels as it often comes from different sources. |

| thanks for that, flight. i have a two ton tank and it is brought in from somewhere in the tatlisu area, i spend roughly two weeks there every quarter, just the two of us. we seem to use approx two tons a week, washer, dish washer etc. |
