Went tonight with my Ukrainian girlfriend.Absolutely blown away with the ambience and food.

Staff in traditional Turkish uniforms,Live Turkish band,Fillet steak to die for.My partner had meze,so many,I had to help her eat.

Please,please try,absolutely fantastic,and a reasonable price !!!

There are no lines thro' mine,but I will repost:

Blue Door,Alsancak......had a fantastic meal last night.

Luydmila had a special,28 cold meze,and 5 hot ones'.I helped out,but still too much

Then chicken and a lamb chop.

All served with delicious home made chips and salad.

I had the best fillet steak ever had in TRNC,with a pepper sauce.

The meal was served by waiters in Traditional dress,

And a live local band played Turkish music.

Then complimentary fresh fruit and a huge brandy,and coffee

Wonderful end to Luydmila's holiday.

We ate there a couple of weeks ago - excellent, will certainly go back and would recommend it to anyone.

It sounds like ot has improved immensly since it opened in July. The food then was only average and there was not a lot of it and they stung you for drinks. So not been back might have to give it another try, 'cos i certainly liked the decor and the waiters in traditional costumes. Lizzie
