Your son is at the perfect age to intergrate into the local school's and community - don't wast your money on a private school why he is so young. State schools start from 5 years old, but some will take from 4 if they have classroom assistants.

Give me your email address and i'll tell you what we have done and our experiences.

I agree. 4 is a fantastic age to start in a Turkisk school and they will pick up the language very quickly.

We decided not to put our children (aged 10, 6 and 3 when we came a year ago) into Turkish schools as I didnt think they would cope very well with the language barrier. I know of many people that have children in the state school and their children have thrived and also in 'private' English schools and the same story there. But there is always good and bad in both.

I would recommend that you and your family go to visit both English and state schools and seeing for yourself before you make the decision. You know your child better than anyone else and know how they will react.

Good luck and I wish you and you family well for the future whatever you decide. x
