| I need to get broadband Internet connection to Karsiyaka.
My friends have tried the dongle (2mb system) in Karsiyaka and told me it was rubbish and went back to extend but this is more than a year ago and I wondered whether it was OK now in that area.
I cannot believe that Laconic do not know whether the service is of an acceptable standard in Karsiyaka, surely it is there job to know what the coverage is.
Does anyone in Karsiyaka (seaside) use this system and could they please advise me? Would be very grateful. |

| I stay seaside and use Turkcell dongle with no problems, even managed to stream the footy on it so can't be that bad. |

| I am very grateful to those of you who replied.
Sounds like it will be OK then, just could not believe the arrogance of the people who told me I would just have to buy it and see if it worked. I am sure that Laconic can do better than that, especially when I have been a dialup customer for the last 6 years.
Feel a bit more confident about it now.
Will I be able to get BBC iplayer when I have the broadband? |

| Not sure if you can receive BBC I player outside the UK on broadband...I may be wrong though. |

| Do you know anyone who could bring over either (or both) Turkcell or Telsim dongles for you to try? A lot does depend on the area you're in, some swear by Turkcell but for us it was useless yet we've never had a bit of bother suing Telsim - and it's cheaper |
