Myself and my wife are looking to potentially escape the rat race and are looking at Northern Cyprus as our location of choice. I am a senior executive with a large real estate developer (Specialing in residential Golf Developemnts) also with extensive senior executive experience in the hospitality/hotel industry. Can anyone possibly point me in the right direction in regards to speaking to anyone in Northern Cyprus who may need someone with the mentioned skill set. Incidentally I am not looking to earn millions but rather to keep myself busy and to be able to pay the bills. Many thanks Andrew

Andrew, On a more serious note, the Merit Hotel/Casino in Alsancak are rumored to have bought up a large area to the west of the hotel, for the building of a golf course. I don't have any contact details for them, but if you investigate further, they may be in the market for someone who knows a bit about the business to develop plans, if the rumors are correct. If this did ever go ahead, it would be one of the best things to happen in the area, job creation, golf course, presumably a few other family facilities. If the golf venues in NC got their acts together collectively, they could start to promote golfing holidays as presently very popular in Portugal etc. Cheers Brian

Andrew Korineum is the best golf course in Cyprus....according to the owners of the next best course in the south.... can't get a better recommendation than that... I don't play golf or have any connection with the club... no axe to grind... http://www.esentepegolfcourse.com/index.html
