| Hi there Due over again later this month and time to invest in broadband and TV services. I think I know where to go for the ISP, although I'm unsure if you can get the same degree of control as I'm used to in the UK. Is it possible to: A. Hide the network from view? B. restrict access by mac address at the router? I'm leaning towards the TV by broadband as opposed to a dish. At the mo its subscribing to filmon.com or a vpn to source UK TV. I would like to get tvcatchup.com, but not sure if you can access this via a vpn in North Cyprus? Anybody care to share their opinions relating to my current thinking? Many Thanks Nigel |

| Hi Nigel TV via satellite is the BEST, most reliable option for this area of CY covered by this board - but to get BBC 1-4 you'll need a 4.2m so better get a well installed 1.8m and watch BBC via a VPN and iplayer tvcatchup will not work with most VPNs Then there's a slingbox option - but you needa VERY good uplink connection and a reliable download |
