Having only ever played crazy golf about a million years ago - would it be advisable to have some taster lessons first?? If so, any idea of the cost. I've been for drinks and lunch at the golf club, the grounds look superb.

Hi Jakki, If you are considering taking up the game I would strongly recommend you invest in a few lessons. At least then you will have an indication of how you are supposed to hit that damn tiny white ball (which has a will of it's own) in the general direction you would like it to!

You are right about Korineum. It is in a beautiful setting and is also a very challenging course.

Happy hacking

Hi Jakki

Contact the Pro Michael Jones, he will give you costs etc.for lessons There is the Academy course which has 3 holes for you to practise on. Suggest you do that before paying out large amounts of money to see if you want o take the sport up.

JAKKI...If you decide to go ahead it is a damned expensive but very enjoyable game.If you get the chance to go to Lidl in the south they will probably sell cheap golf balls tee,s etc like they do back here.!doz golf balls a fiver,ideal for a beginner on the Korineum course.Large bag of various sizegolf tee,sŁ2.50,and golf gloves at Ł3.99.No point spending a fortune on the normal gear just in case you decide to pack it in. One tip I will give you ,when you go to look for a ball that has gone off the fairway and into some rough,take a golf club with you,they have quite a few snakes on the course...otherwise a lovely place to play

Jakki;

Forget Lidl in the south.

They have nothing golf related.

I notice Roachie is spouting his usual misinformation from his council house in England.

In four plus years of playing i have seen about four snakes all of them black ones (harmless) there are vipers i know but if you are careful and make a noise they get out of the way, well before you appear..

I would also like you to note that it is illegal to harm snakes (protected species)

My advice to you all is not to venture anywhere in the bushes ravines etc -Just leave those pro v's them for me.

In conclusion Korineum is a wonder full world class course and you will be made more than welcome.

There is another course at CMC Guzelyurt although not of the same standard it has a lovely aspect and you will be made equally welcome.

jAKKI..The info I posted was applicable to here in the UK,and I do not live in a council house,but then Hippos do have rather large mouths.I wrongly assumed that if they sold those items here that they would probaly sell them in the South,as for the snakes I have played there twice and have been unfortuneate to come into contact with on both occasions,and I have to say that they did shoot off as soon as I disturbed them.The club I suggested you take into the bush was for your own protection.If you notice the ignorant Hippo cannot even post my correct name,mst be an animal thin .Enjoy your golf my dear and I hope you get ahole in one some day,if you do make sure you have a full wallet cos it can be expensive.....
