Initial Residency Application at Famagusta

Have just completed our residency application and cannot praise highly enough our treatment by the the Immigration Police who were so helpful and courteous. Beware however, the hospital across the road from the police station, should you choose to have your blood test there. They charge TL130 per person. I understand the same tests are available for TL80 if you shop around.

Which police station are you referring to please? i.e. and therefore which hospital?

Yes could you let me which police station and hospital as we are coming over in the next couple of weeks and will be doing this process.

And could anyone tell me where else we can get the blood test done

The main Police stn near the roundabout that has the big mosque near it. As you approach the roundabout with the mosque in front of you the police stn is behind the shops on the right. Do not know which hospital Martin went to, luckily last year I got 2 yr temp residency (age58), and did not need blood test.

Do not believe you can go to Famagusta for residency as you live in Alsansak think you may need to go via Girne. Best of luck it is crap there.

The police station in famagusta is right across the mosque where the big roundabout is.

Center of Famagusta...



Private hospitals charge 100-150TL

Public 80 TL but the charge might have raised...
