We are hoping to arrange a get together at a local venue for mums to sell their kids outgrown clothes/toys and buy clothes/toys from other mums ( fathers welcome too!). The event will likely take place on a Saturday afternoon and kids are very welcome, refreshments and tables will be available. The venue has kindly agreed not to charge for room hire. What a good idea,yes ,hope this goes ahead.I am always on the look out for toys for our grandchildren but someone always beats me to it.If this does take off I will be there.

Good idea, could you post the location please and the time? Many people are working on Saturdays including myself so would be great to have it a bit later in the day so everyone could join in.

7Wonder, we have organised it for a Saturday afternoon as we know many of the mums are working. It will likely start at 2pm and will be at the Black Olive Cafe in Alsancak. I will confirm the date with Vicki, but we are thinking Saturday 29th January to give you all time to dig out your stuff to sell. When the date/time is confirmed I will post here. The event has now been confirmed:

Date: Saturday 29th January

Location: Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak

Time: Sellers set up from 1pm/ buyers from 2pm

The tables are FREE and INSIDE! Please contact me to book a table: melaniepartington@hotmail.com

Children are very welcome and delicious homemade cakes and refreshments are available from the Black Olive Cafe. Large outdoor play area for the children.
