All pictures - including several 360˚ pictures - from a recent visit to the UN Buffer zone in Nicosia are now on line. They were taken by my Dutch friend, the photographer Bo de Visser. Enjoy: ▶ [ http://www.urban-travel.org/greenline/ ].

Nice photos Hans, again ! When I was based in Dhekelia in the early 80s we used to drive from Larnaca and about 3 miles from the prominent roundabout on Dhekelia Road there was a park full of Turkish Cypriot owned Cars, I notice that it is not there anymore, does anyone else remember it and more importantly ......what happened to the cars???

Very emotive pictures. I know it's a big 'IF', but if there is a resolution, what will happen to the Buffer Zone? Will it be sensitively renovated to preserve character and history, or will it be bulldozed for new development. By whom,.. North or South? Some of these areas, especially in Nicosia, may well be of potentially very high value.
