Mr Spider has just put two potatoes onto our open fire, that saves me cooking tonight and I have no idea why we have never done this before ! OOH bonfire night tonight, when was the last time you did this ? Its going to smell good soon

Lee if he ever catches one might well cook it the same way,but just remembered we did this a couple of years ago and forgot about them,found the potatoes the next morning

Practice makes perfect. The second ones were just right, just lay them to the front of the fire, never tried the chestnuts or marshmallows as yet but they will be on the shopping list,
