Location of Driver's License Office in Lefkosia?

Could someone give me directions to the driver's license office in Lefkosia?



When I first got here and bought a car we went to an office in Lefkosia to have our name put in the blue registration book after we bought it. Is it the same building?



I know I can go to the driving school in Girne but we travel often to Lefkosia so its no big deal to go there.

As far as I am aware it is - but stand to be corrected. Did ours in Girne. closer and easier

It isn't the same office but very close. If you are renewing your licence you can do it in Girne.

Directions to Lefkosa are:

Take dual carriageway from Girne to Lefkosa, straight ahead at 'boulder' roundabout. Continue straight for 2-3 kms. Go straight ahead at traffic lights by Maxuum garage and take next left (Turkcell office on the corner) into a one way street. At the end of this street turn right(sort of straight ahead as it's on a bend) and the offices are a bit further on, on the right hand side in an apartment block.

If you renew your turkish licence what do you need to take? Do they need sight of your UK licence?

Where in Girne is the office?

Take your old Turkish license, copy of passport photo page and residence visa page. Fill in the form at the office or look for DC's portal where you can download a form.



From the east ; turn right after Girne hospital, follow the road past hospital car park, next right at Kings court, right again and it's the first building. Ground floor door on the left.
