Anyone bought recently or can provide an update on sourcing and buying a heater. Usual stuff, cost and shops supplying based on a purchase in the North.

Home Essentials in Alsancak have them in. Don't know the price unfortunately. Less than a gas heater anyway. I think they are less than 80tl. Depends on the size and model your buy.

Try TEKTAN, saw some in there last week, various prices.

The shop is just off the High St. in Girne if you turn left up the side of The Socratees Hotel,

which is on the left just before you approach The Savoy Hotel TEKTAN is app 100 yards on the left.

I bought a small red one for 90TL in an electrical shop in Kyrenia between the main roundabout and the Bellapais lights. They also have a white one with a slightly bigger tank for 110TL. Most places do them but definitely do not pay more than 90TL. A friend of mine was quoted 200TL for the same one!
