My son and daughter in law had their daughter delivered there 2 weeks ago. No problems whatsoever. Dr Meryem was brilliant and it was a natural birth.

I had my baby there 3mths ago, it was by cesarian but i wanted to say that the nurses there were really lovely and so attentive and helpful. I was worried as it was so small, in fact i was petrified but it was and they were great. Are you under Dr Meryem?

Postings 2 and 3 have given you some good feedback. maybe email each other and have coffee, this is a way to gaining extra reassurance. and a chance to make some new found friends that could help set your mind at rest. Babies are born every day over here. And every birth is always a totally individual experience, All the very best wishes. Spider,X

I gave birth at Tunçevik 4 years ago under Dr Meyrem. They where very good and the after care is excellent. I highly recommend it. As Ramandans wife if a Childrens doctor she now see my son when unwell and when he is due for hi injections.

We too could not fault Tunccevik, we had both our children under Dr Rmadan ( C-SECTIONS) and the care we received from start through to finish was first class, all the nursing staff were attentive and caring and put the NHS to shame really.....The only thing I would say is we were spoilt first time round as the hospital was quiet, we were the only ones in, second time was busier with 3 or 4 out of the 5 rooms taken and was busy with visitors up to 22.00 - 23.00 at night..Saying that we would have no hesitation recommending them....good luck

hi livs is my daughter, and we appreciate the help and experience from other members on the board. She is out in northern cyprus and at 24 weeks pregnant is trying to discover what options are available to her, preferring if possible not to have a c. section. Me here in the uk.. i obviously feel helpless to guide her as i dont have any real knowledge of options in trnc. I know i certainly appreciate all the information from peoples experiences and it will help livs to feel more calm when making her choice.. Many thanks Elaine x

Hi i asked about having my husband with me but was not allowed but i think that was because it was a cesarean. There are only 5 rooms in the clinic so it is never really busy, the birthing room is very small but they have all the necessary equipment there is also a room with incubator and uv lamps etc icase of premature birth or probs. İf i was you i would go one afternoon and just ask to look around i did and you can ask any questions you have. İ say the afternoon because mornings are busy but very quiet in the afternoon so tey can show you, it only takes 5mins cse so small. Zoe.x

I had my son at Tunccevik 3 years ago, yes had a c-section, but it was fantastic compared to my first birth in the UK (now that was a horrendous experience!). Dr Ramadan delivered my son, he was brilliant, staff were brilliant, hospital is spotless, recovery was far quicker than in the UK. Highly recommend it. It beats the dirty filthy NHS hospitals that's for sure!!

My daughter in law had a natural birth as I have already said. My son was allowed in the room at the same time. Can't fault anything. Aftercare is brilliant. Don't think partner is allowed in the room with a C-Section though. We made it clear to Dr Meryem that we didn't want a C-Section and she was fine about it.
