I know this has been done before, I was just wondering how many people are moving away from the TRNC... And where they are going, different country or back to the UK... It just seems everyone is trying to get out... for different reasons...

I don't know just being nosey I guess.. I know it's not for everyone but we love it here, have been here six years... It's a bit of a struggle sometimes but really worth the effort.... If I had to go somewhere else it would not be back to Blighty...

I went to Germany 3 years ago, simply because i had visited friends in the south-east, and liked it there, with the thought that I might move on somewhere else eventually. Much as I miss my kids and grandkids, I don't think I would return to the UK.

I was lucky, I met a new lady in Germany and I am settled here for the time being.

How many expats are still living full time in NC? Of those that are, how many can be bothered to contribute to this forum?

Maybe those who are know most of the answers to questions asked and thus just get on with life in TRNC.

The quality of life in TRNC far out way the uk .

The climate ,the respect from a real neighbourhood ,no major crime scenes .

The lovely little restraunts etc

yes there are downsides ,like everywhere .And this last year or two with all the doom and gloom with world recession, has left everybody feeling bit down.

But life is for living when you have the life in you .Dont sit back and hope .

Well sussed, but not so much about "being bothered, more like "Happy people usually want to associate with other happy people.
