I am thinking of it too, but I do know a couple of ladies who have been to him, and will ask them to contact you. They were delighted, and from what I can hear it is far far cheaper than anywhere else. Goiod luck.

Come to think of it, I would like to know of any other ladies out there who have had tummy tucks and how long they took before they could drive. Everyone is different, so maybe some ladies got behind the wheel sooner than my other friends. Come on - confess!

Hey Dozza, as you have withheld your e mail address, we can't write to you, so PLEASE can't you share what you know on here. It would help a lot of us. How did you feel? What did it cost? How long to recovery? Do you regret it? What homework did you do before committing to the knife? How much thinner are you? Did it last? etc, etc. Come on - share, PLEASE.

Sorry to be the voice of doom and gloom ladies but have you considered that a few extra pounds round your middle is just part of the ageing process and to undergo surgery for the sake of vanity has its own risks!! Going under a general anaesthetic holds too many risks and what if, (hypothetically speaking) a few months down the line you really do need surgery for a life threatening disease (god forbid) then the risk of a general anaesthetic is doubled. Think very carefully before having surgery for cosmetic reasons! Chris

Sorry everyone, I have visitors at the moment but will write to you who have sent email addresses as soon as I have a minute. Just to say my experience was all good, Doctor Bugra is a professional Doctor and the best. Also have to say that it is definitely not all about vanity. I have been so much better in myself and my confidence since my tummy tuck.

Just to let you know I was speaking to one of Dr.Bugra's customers who prefers to remain anonymous (not all ladies like to talk about their operations!), and she has nothing but praise. 'Everything he said would happen, happened just the way he said and I dropped two sizes!'. She also said she would have it done again. Nothing negative as well. Any intelligent woman knows of risks, and Dr Bugra is one of the first to point out risks, as any decent plastic surgeon does. I know personally he turned oneperson down for surgery because they were coming with wrong motives. So the warnings of Nurse Awful are real, but no one undertakes surgery lightly. And remember, if any surgeon puts a foot wrong here, they won't work again.

To Schoie - yes he does boob jobs - makes bigger or smaller, according to demand. And I knokw of one very satisfied customer (not me!) and again she would not go public. Get in touch with him - he will talk you through it. As to Neg Nick - wrong kind of carve up here! Builders can run away and ruin another day - plastic surgeons can't quite do the same!

Good luck to all of you who are going for a bit of 'tidying up' . Goodbye to the bad effects of time and gravity and welcome to rejuvenation. The extra confidence giv es extra energy to enjoy life. Good luck to you all. Me? I am still trying to save for that tummy tuc\k. Being a fat child has left its mark, and maybe to wear a bikini on the beach and to be able to sit up without looking like a beached belly whale is this year's ambition - courtesy of Dr.Bugra. And those of you going under the knife - please report back for us all here on Cyprus 44.

Interesting article in today's Daily Mail re plastic surgery. Some of you might find it balanced, and others might think it is aimed at 'nutters' to put them off - but it does have some interesting comments.
