Have you also noticed how many times a first time poster on C44 is welcomed with friendly words, explanations and answers to (silly) questions - never to hear from such posters again?

Does the cap fit you?

Hm.

So, what's the problem DC? You were quite nasty when I started posting, but you weren't going to scare me off. are you suggesting being nice is wrong?

RE msg 2, Rosie 64: (...) Have you also noticed many posts are started that have no relevance to North Cyprus ? (...)

▶ Have you also read that moderator No1Doyen (Bill) wrote several times on this board that ANY subject can be 'discussed' on C44...?

RE msg 4, philbailey: (...) A dutch cap ? (...)

▶ Haha. You're number 19003 to launch this great joke on this board. But, please note, it should be written like this: "A Dutch cap?". So you made two errors in a three word line. Not a winner, eh, your funny post.

Some posters are even more stupid than I ever could imagine. Keep them posts coming, folks... But try to reply to the remark in message 1. OK?

RE msg 3, AnthonySmith: (...) are you suggesting being nice is wrong? (...)

▶ Yes, it's wrong being nice to people who are only here to fool some members with their rubbish, faked ID's and bogus profile. I call it naive if you don't wait to see whether it's a serious poster or not. Too many here take the bait.

Innocent until proved guilty. Be nice and people may be nice in return. Be nasty and they will disappear, as have many really nice people on this board, because they have been criticised unfairly. None ofg us can and should prejudge a newcomer. Give them time to hang themselves - don't do it for them. Something to do with 'Love thy Neighbour' or at the very least be a Mrs Do As You Would Be Done By (from The Water Babies).

Don't condemn when you know nothing about them and don't expect everyone to think and act the same as oneself.

Yea - BE NICE.

Well its happened, a thread that is useless, everthing as been hunky dory for a few weeks people being friendly and helpful. Then DC starts to get bored with being nice, hence a totally provoative post. Moderators please take note, this should not be happening, you I think, said things were in the pipeline to stop multiple IDs so like I said just old DC bored or he probably lost at chess.

First post i put up was recomending a cleaner , i was then faced with a lot of aggresive annswers about ruining the local economy , not paying tax ..etc [1 was from someone looking for a lift to Ikea the next week] when i pointed out it was a legit T/C company not one reply back or appology , this is why i am wary of the bully boys on here
