Any Betamax video players/recorders still alive?

I have some valuable recordings on old betamax video tapes that I have recently discovered. The problem is - how does one extract/copy the info onto other media? The only way I would have thought is to find a Betamax video player, but does anyone have an idea where one can get such tapes copied here or in UK?

In the UK any high street camera shop etc, can do this for you. "Jessops" etc



Even in NC its not a big problem.

I discovered tapes of Christmas dinners with family during early 1980s, one of them has my late brother and wife at the table with us, plus recordings of flight training (landing at various local UK airports) during 80s again...

Any idea wher in NC they might do this?

Baseline computers will be able to do what you want, I dont have there full address but they are behind Astro Supermarket on the way out towards Alsancak.

I will try find the tel number.
