His own fault we all know unmarked bikes patrol the roads around there and have done for years as an easy collar.

Deserves to be banned. The pillion passenger must have a death wish, to get on the back of that bike with him riding it. Nice bike though.

My husband raced in the Isle of Man TT for 9 years. I only got on the back of his bike once! I prefer to ride my own, feel much safer.

He is a friend of my husband Dudley Robinson. Dudley raced in the 1960 -1970's for Padgetts of Batley, Leeds.

Ah, The A6 from Matlock, through Cromford, towards Derby. Used to be a really nice drive. Now it's full of cameras, 'traffic calming' and signs saying that big brother is watching from the police helicopter.

Wattys Yes he was a friend of Dudley's, he was a lovely man. I think he died last year. We keep getting phone calls from racing friends letting us know the news. Are you from Yorkshire?

Snaefell I heard the same about Barry, but lo and behold last week in our local paper there was an article about Barry apparently he has lost both legs and that was probably where the rumour came from a couple of years ago. He has taken a art course to relieve the boredom of sitting round the house just watching tv. Seemed to be ok from the picture in the paper.

wattys Thanks for the info about Barry. Glad he is ok, sounds like he is wanting to keep busy. Dudley said he heard about Barry having his legs amputated and as you say, that is probably where the rumour came from.
