Hey everyone. I'm visiting Cyprus at the end of February. I wondered whether anyone can tell me of a somewhere with a good indoor pool/jacuzzi/sauna etc. Has anyone used the Cratos Premium Hotel facilities?Does it have an indoor pool? Many Thanks Carly

Oscar's has an indoor pool, The Ship Inn has quite a new indoor pool, and I think maybe a sauna also (might be wrong). But I'm sure places such as Sweet Water Bay are private and not open to the public (they are not hotels). Hope this helps. Would definately try Cratos as it's a very nice hotel.

Thanks for your suggestions. I know Cyprus quite well as my partner is from the Island, this will be about my 10th time visiting! We will be staying in Catalkoy, I've heard the Mercure hotel is quite good? I'm glad I came across this website, nice to see. And everyone appears very friendly too.Such a lovely place, just a shame it is not recognised as much as it should be. Carly

Hi CarlyRose In answer to your Cratos question, i stayed there during september 2010 and their facilities and surrounding are stunning... I also stayed at the Mercure in June 2007 and their facilities are also lovely but the two hotels are situated a fair distance apart so depends if you have transport and where you will be based. Good luck and enjoy. Elaine

Can someone give me yearly rates for the use of the indoor pools for Malpas and Cratos please? This is no joke, the judge in the court case mentioned in message 6 above actually wants to know such rates to help her decide on the amount of compensation in favour of the plaintiffs. ismet

The Acapulco is having its ladies swim day on Tuesdays cakes and coffee included, use of pool, sauna, Turkish bath and possibly the gym. There are also weekly specially reduced beauty treatments on offer if you wish. Look on board for details in Dennise's posts advertising these days. I can recommend them and find the whole experience there far nicer than the Malpas which I have also used. Top marks to Acapulco staff.

if you want the best fitness suite ,relaxation and ultra posh surroundings, try the cratos.its absolutley superb. ive been in a couple of times and its completely empty! which is great if you wanna train. i enquired how much per year and it worked out to be over a £1000 per year.6 months was £700 odd, which is obviously why its vacant. its ideal for the odd day if you wanna spoil yourself as a day pass is 70tl,but if you want to train regularly there, i think its a bit pricey...... drop your prices cratos!!........better to be full and making good revenue than employing staff to run an empty spa!!!
