| For 3 or 4 years I always used to see them along the sea wall in Girne harbour, but after a couple of sightings in April last year they seem to have disappeared. |

| There are a pair or more Kingfishers that come to feed behind the Lapta Old Peoples Home ,it's a pleasure to watch. If you look at Charlie Hamilton James web site, the pictures of Kingfishers are breathtaking.He was the camerman who took a year off work to film them by his house ,please have a look.This is where this this chap in the Daily Mail got his ideas from I'm sure.He must be thrilled getting his award. |
