Can anyone tell me where I might purchase an electric heated towel rail so that I can experience nice warm snug towels when I get out of the shower instead of the cold damp ones I am currently enduring.

Pinkcat Would most definately NOT recommend SURE services in Karakum, they done some work for us and DO NOT stand by any guarantee they may give you. Would try someone else

Extension leads can be dangerous in a bathroom but i suppose it could be done. My nearest plug to the bathroom is about 20feet away.

Drill through from the bathroom to room next door with a power point. Take off plug, thread lead though wall. reattach plug, plug in, switch on power. Works for us.
