| Hannah, there are currently 3 Hotels open in Bellapais (Abbey inn and Bellapais Residence have been taken over but not open yet). Bellapais Gardens, just below the Monastery, Non smoking thru out, accomodation in mini villas or studios, great food and Best location for Bellapais(2 mins walk).Personal favorite Bella View Boutique Hotel(at entrance to BMV), Only registered Boutique Hotel in Northern Cyprus, 21 rooms, originally designed as a private villa(12 car garage now an Art gallery)SV rooms have window, MV rooms have balcony, v comfortable surroundings, massages by the pool incl Chocolate! Bellapais Moanstery Village, 12 Hotel rooms and 16 Mini Villas(same price) again nice comfortable surroundings, a good 20 Minute UPHILL walk into Bellapais, though if booked into Tree of Idleness restaurant, they'll collect and return you free of charge. Main selling point for all 3 being NO CHILDREN ACCEPTED UNDER 15 YO. Good unbiased reveiws on tripadvisor, holiday watchdog etc Click on above (FLIGHTS AND HOTELS) Izzet will get you a good rate. Bellapais Gardens and BMV now full end Sept/early Oct. |

| hannah As ttoli says, from Bellapais Monastery Village, or Bella View, it's a very 'stiff' walk uphill, epecially in hot weather! Though they are great hotels! Bella View is my favourite, been there 3 times, relaxed, lovely staff, luxurious, superb pool area, pampered to death! Phone them direct though, do a deal! They will pick you up from Ercan at a very reasonable price, sort out taxis up or downhill, or reasonably priced hire cars. If he's on duty, the manager Emrah is a poppet with a great sense of humour, (p.s. ask for room 14!) Whatever you decide,.. it's a wonderful part of the island! rob |
