| Step 1 - find a lawyer nobody likes (in the construction industry)
Step 2 - find a good middle man/negotiator
Step 3 - forget all about counter-claims for delay in completion etc.
I bought my house off-plan in Jan. 04. It was built in July 05 and in Nov. 05 I got a shared Kocan. How?
My builder is well documented on this and other boards as a bad person. He's not, if you stand up to him.
I engaged the services of a retired very well respected civil servant as a go-between with me and the builder.
The retired civil servant is fantastic, explaining the psychology of TC.'s and how they deal in business. He got the
builder to the negotiating table and made the deal possible.
We've got our shared kocan. The builder - Cafer Cucelgazi aka CaSa Construction - not a bad chap - if you use the Middleman, and the lawyer. |
