Your most treasured piece of clothing? Everyone has one, even a fav pair of undies or socks.

Mine is my denim jacket from the Hard Rock Cafe in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt. It's done me loads of favours over the years. They always let me straight in instead of having to wait in a line and don't charge me for going in. (I suppose me being dressed like a bouncer is good for them, costs them less in the long run )

My Crombie overcoat, bought the day President Kennedy was shot. Bought at Max Cohens, Aldgate East, it's still good as new.

Took it to Cyprus and only wore it twice in 10 years!

msg2, you've just reminded me of another fav, my Jennings Best Bitter polo shirt I bought in the brewery gift shop. It's about 20 years old, falling to bits but I still wear it

My Barbour Northumbria jacket - 25 years old, press studs renewed once, zip twice, rewaxed twice, and patched 3 times and all free of charge courtesy of Barbour at various Game Fairs. It is perfect when pruning the bougainvillea - it needs more than bougainvillea to get through a Barbour.

mine is a Juliam McDonald dress he made for me to go to Royal Ascot. Before he was famous. He made me many cocktail type dresses which I loved . The colours he put me in I would never have though. The one I refer to is lime green with 500 swazorti crystals as the tail piece. Also the shoulder staps are all in crystal. I have it here and I cant wear it here, YET. I was a size 6 when he made it but I cant part with it. Now he is famous maybe I can sell it on ebay xxx

Lilli, maybe you should sell it my love. I had to sell my Rolex Submariner a couple of years ago and was gutted. At least I made a tidy profit on it. (Bought new £1400 sold £2400)

LILLI! How wonderful to own a dress like that, dont sell it, just get it out occassionally and reminis........A friend of mine's daughter had a tattoo of a pair of cherries on her bottom, mum was appalled and asked her why? The answer was, that when she was old and senile in her hospital bed and the nurses role her over to give her a bed bath they will see the tattoo and think, my word, she has had a fun life!!!! So in many years time Lilli you will be able to look at that dress and remember the good times.............!! shrimpx

Tootie, I called Rolex about a full service and they wanted £1000 hehe. Sold it to a watch dealer all scratched, unserviced etc etc.

Mike, had mine serviced by a Rolex Dealer, About 18month ago, It did take nearly a month for rtn but was told it had to back to Switzerland because they found a problem during the service. But I did not Believe it was the same watch when it came back. Looked like a new one!
