Unfortunateley, its the irresistible force meeting the immovable object.Moon may be talking the talks up somewhat, but even he must know that there has been too much blood spilt on both sides over the years. It really is a shame as there would be so much to gain financially, for both Turkey and Cyprus if there was to be a re-unification. The two leaders will meet again in March, lock horns, realise, once again that they cannot come to an agreement on property and settlers, shake hands and go there seperate ways until after their respective elections. That means this will carry on into the autumn. Neither leader wants to lose face by backing down, imagine the stigma that would be attached to that.Strictly from a personal point of view,i would love to see direct flights, and North Cyprus be allowed to trade freely.I love the country, and its people. They deserve better, Paul.

Paul, your statement is not wrong, I don,t think they will ever sort it out, if I had to choose north or South, it will be the North every time, and the People in the North do deserve much much beter than the system they have to work with, Sundance

It will never be sorted as the Church in the South still want it all and they want it NOW. Nothing will change, and they will keep up the sham talks until (and after) the next election(s). At least it gives the politicians families a chance to travel and see different parts of Europe. What they really want is the talks to be transferred to the UN HQ in New York, so they can see the sights in style. Hey Ho. Michael
